Zachry has shared a value-based contractual alliance with Phillips Petroleum Company (now ConocoPhillips and Chevron Phillips) since 1978. Following a rigorous competitive process, Zachry entered into a long-term alliance agreement with Phillips in early 1997 as Phillips’ first-choice provider of supplemental maintenance, turnarounds and small capital construction projects.
Today, Zachry provides a wide range of industrial services at the following ConocoPhillips locations:
- Borger, TX
- Sweeny, TX
- Ponca City, OK
- Bartlesville, OK
- Houston, TX
Zachry's services include the management, planning and direct-hire execution of all electrical, mechanical and civil supplemental maintenance services and turnarounds. Zachry also provides turnkey capital construction projects less than $10 million in total installed cost.
Additionally, we often provide large project capital construction (larger than $10 million) for the customer. Such projects have included the construction of a low-sulfur gasoline facility, a methyl mercaptan unit and a crude oil fractionation tower at the Borger refinery, and the refurbishment of architect Frank Lloyd Wright’s Price Tower in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
Using a unique business concept aimed at maximizing value from every aspect of the contractor-customer relationship, Zachry has dedicated resources exclusively to serve ConocoPhillips’ needs. The alliance’s strength is directly related to the ongoing achievement of business goals and straightforward, honest communications throughout the business partnership.
Zachry executes over 1 million workhours per year for ConocoPhillips. By working collaboratively with this customer, Zachry has helped ConocoPhillips save several millions of dollars and continues to add value to the project sites. ConocoPhillips has enjoyed gains from direct productivity, best practices implementation, improved management efficiency, workforce stabilization, consolidation of service providers, implementation of state-of-the-art processes and systems, and other validated business process improvements. |
