(Decatur, Illinois) –ZCC’s Industrial Services Division (ISD) assumed routine maintenance and small capital project responsibilities at Archer Daniels Midland Company’s (ADM) corn processing plant in Decatur, Ill. This service agreement marks ZCC’s first foray into the food processing industry.

ZCC is maintaining a plant whose primary products are high fructose corn syrup, ethanol and agricultural feed byproducts. While the end products at ADM’s Decatur plant differ from any ZCC has previously worked with, many of the production processes, and therefore maintenance activities, are similar to those in facilities ISD has maintained for years. The plant utilizes rotating equipment, pumps, motors and dryers much like those found in the pulp and papermills where ZCC has a maintenance presence.
