ZCC Wins World Safety Organization Award
July
2005
(Warrensburg, Mo.) –
ZCC was recently awarded the Concerned Company/ Corporation
Award from the World Safety Organization, a group dedicated
to internationalizing all safety fields. Each year, six to
seven corporations are recognized with the Concerned Company/
Corporation Award for contributing to the protection of people,
property, resources and the environment through innovative
programs, and for demonstrating distinctive concern for the
well-being of employees and the local community.
“Being recognized with
this award from the World Safety Organization is a great honor,”
said Corporate Director of Safety and Health Warren Davis.
“ZCC has a long history of concern for the well-being
of our employees and a dedication to creating a work environment
that values the safety and health of our workforce above all
else. I’ve heard CEO John Zachry say that it isn’t
always easy or expedient to work safely — but that it
is always smart and, more importantly, it is always the right
thing to do. In my experience, that approach to safety is
integral to the way Zachry conducts business.”
